A Wurlitzer 200A electric piano with a brand new Retrolinear EP200A amplifier featuring Variable Vibrato.
The 200A speaks for itself, and this piano is no exception. This piano is studio or touring ready. The action has been completely overhauled with all action centers lubed until free. The keys have been cleaned, leveled, spaced, and polished to look like new. The action has been properly regulated for let-off, lost motion, key dip, damper adjustments, and sustain pedal adjustment, to say the least. The action feels fast and light, the way a Wurlitzer should feel. The reeds have been tuned and voiced within 3 cents of A440, with all faulty reeds (dull, short-ringing, piercing, or just plain odd sounding) having been replaced with new reeds cut to length and formed. The new amplifier allows for that pure Wurlitzer tone to reach its fullest potential, with buttery vibrato to soothe the soul, and leaves behind the worry of when the next component on an original amp is going to fail and leave you hanging. This particular keyboard has the third knob “variable vibrato” circuitry installed, which gives the player control over the vibrato speed. The original AUX OUT and PHONE OUT sockets remain intact and functioning; remember, the PHONE OUT jack acts as a speaker shutoff when anything is plugged in. The original CTS volume and vibrato pots have been replaced with new CTS pots to eliminate dead or noisy spots. The original oval AC connector is in perfect functioning condition, and the original power cable is included.
The bench, sustain pedal and legs are all original.
